LearningOLD

I have created two LMS (Learning Management System) sites to RVelectricity, each with its own mission and training content….

NoShockZone

NoShockZone.org is being relaunched this fall and will include non-RV related content on residential electricity and general electrical knowledge. In addition, it will be the home of consumer training courses about RV electricity. So, if you want to learn how to use a Multimeter to test battery voltage, or measure current with a clamp meter, this is the place to find it. I’ve also had a number of tech high schools ask about video training content for their STEM classes. This will be fun since I’ve been an adjunct professor for nearly two decades teaching audio electronics and live sound electrical safety, plus I have a background in robotics control. While these school programs will be behind a firewall, I plan to offer online basic electricity courses to any RVelectricity.com reader who’s a already a voluntary paid subscriber ($5 per month or $50 per year).

RveTech

RveTech.com will launch as a private website this December and be secured behind a paywall for RV technicians and campground maintenance staff only. As you’re all probably aware, most RV technicians have little or no formal training on electrical troubleshooting, which drives up repair costs and increases downtime. My last 50 years in the electrical industry have primarily been focused on advanced electrical troubleshooting techniques, so here’s my opportunity to help the RV industry train better technicians. This site will not only provide advanced electrical training for RV technicians, attendees will be be graded after each training section. And if all goes well, we’ll also be able to provide CEU (Continuing Education Units) for RV technicians who pass these courses.
