We’re currently migrating RVelectricity over to a new server and will soon begin sending newsletters from here exclusively
Starting over is hard to do…
Just an update on the migration of RVelectricity from SubStack to WordPress
- Over 1,000 articles have been transferred from my SubStack to RVelectricity.com
- All articles are now in a library with main and sub categories for easy searching
- Paid Subscription links are in place and will be activated shortly
- You can use a credit card or PayPal for paid subscriptions, but you’ll still be able to access all articles with a free subscription
- If you’re already a paid subscriber on RVelectricity.SubStack.com we’re transferring your status over to the new subscriber database
- 12,000 of your subscription emails have been transferred from SubStack
- We’re carefully scrubbing these new email lists for any of you who previously unsubscribed
- LMS (Learning Management System) software has been installed and will soon be in Beta Test
Yes, there’s lots more training in 2026
I’m currently setting up my RVelectricity training schedule for 2026 and may have sponsorship support to double the number of rallies and shows I can attend. Plus, since I now have all my demonstration videos embedded in Powerpoint presentations, it’s much easier for me to do Virtual Zoom RVelectricity presentations for your small rallies. Please let me know if your RV Rally or Show might be interested.
More on Grounding Monitor Interrupters (GMI) coming soon
The gorilla in the room is the NEC/RVIA regulation coming late 2026 that will require all newly manufactured RVs to have a special ground monitoring device (GMI) installed at the factory that will keep you safe from electric shock. While there’s been a lot of confusing press releases about how this device will be installed and what it will do, I’m on it. I’ll be doing regular updates on GMI implementation and operation, as well as what campgrounds need to do to prepare for this new electrical safety device.
Let’s play safe out there… Mike

Keep up the great work!
Thanks very much!
Everything is looking good so far. You’re doing a great job! I’ve been subscribed through SubStack and RV Travel for quite awhile. We’re only months apart and I’m retired. My wife has to remind me of that sometimes.
I really enjoy reading your newsletters even if I don’t drive anymore it’s something to look forward to!
Thank you, Sir. Looking forward to your completion. I know you are too.
It’s a bit of a marathon, not a sprint. But my web designer John and I are making steady progress…
